Ashley's of Rockledge

A local eatery is serving up a different kind of 'spirit' in Rockledge, Florida.

Since it's opening, Ashley's customers and employees have been witnessing unexplainable phenomenon in this seemingly normal bar and grill.

Most of the ghostly activity which happens in the ladies restroom, when you are your most vulnerable of course.  Patrons and crew alike have reported apparitions of a young woman in the bathroom mirror and sounds/legs visible under the stall doors but upon exiting the restroom they find that they were alone the whole time.

Other reports around the restaurant include being pushed by an invisible force while on the stairs, Lights flickering on and off at night, burglar alarms being set off without explanation, glasses/dishes fall and break without cause, whispering, and objects moving overnight.

In 1934, 19 year old local Ethel Allen was found brutally murdered on the nearby on the banks of the Indian River. She was a regular at the Tavern, and it was one of the last places she was seen. One psychic who investigated Ashley’s claims to have had a vision of the murder taking place in the restaurant which leads many to believe it is Ethel haunting the place.
