Skunk Ape Headquarters

If you are looking for more information on Florida's notorious Skunk Ape, there is no better place for information, articles, photos, video first hand accounts, merchandise and more than the Official Skunk Ape Research Headquarters in Ochopee, Florida. 

Opened by brothers Dave and Jack Shealy in a small town bordering the Florida Everglades who have personally seen the crypid on multiple accounts in the area. The owners feel like there are way more sightings each year than what is actually reported; most who experience an encounter don't want to be seen as crazy or made fun of. The highlights of the year at the headquarters and adjoining campground are the Everglades Skunk Ape Festival held annually in June complete with a Miss Skunk Ape contest and "Skunktoberfest" in October.
