Bellamy Bridge

The story of this haunted bridge is on of the most romantic storied I have heard!

Bellamy Bridge is an old metal bridge dating from 1914, but it is supposedly haunted by Elizabeth Bellamy. The legend says it was her wedding day at her nearby mansion and her dress caught fire – she was covered in agonizing burns and died from her wounds a few days after the accident.

People swear they see Elizabeth’s ghost – sometimes bright white and on fire – on or near this rusty old bridge.

Historians have located information on Elizabeth, finding that she died of fever when she was 18... but how come people continue to see a woman in white around the bridge?
